SHREDDED WHEAT MUFFINS | |
1 c. bran flakes 1 c. shredded wheat 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. shortening 2 eggs 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 2 1/4 tsp. baking soda 2 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. cut dates Salt Vanilla Crush bran flakes and shredded wheat. Add 1/4 cup boiling water; let stand until cool. Grease muffin tins (or batter may be stored in refrigerator 3 weeks). Bake when needed at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. |
