“ARROZ GUISADO” IS IN:

ARROZ GUISADO 
1 pound rice (about 2 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup homemade sofrito
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
9 olives, halved
salt, pepper, adobo and 1 packet of sazon
5 cups broth or beer
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 cup of whatever meat or seafood you want

In a pot, add olive oil and sautee meat or seafood for a minute then remove. Add garlic and mix around. Add sofrito and olives along with tomato sauce and mix around. Add spices and mix. Add rice and mix. Return meat back to pot and add liquid and stir. When starting to simmer, lower heat to low and cook 40 mins. Serve with habichuelas, tostones and a salad.
