ARROZ CON CARNE 
1 pound of stewing beef
3 cups of rice
1/2 cup sofrito
salt, pepper, adobo and oregano
9 olives sliced
5 cups of broth pr beer
1/2 can tomato sauce

Wash and season beef. In a pot, add a little olive oil and brown meat then remove. Add sofrito, olives and tomato sauce to pot and mix together. Return meat and mix around.

Add 5 cups of broth or beer and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat and cook 30 minutes. Add rice and stir. Make sure there are 5 cups of liquid when adding rice, if not, add more broth or beer with a pinch of salt.

Cook for 40 more minutes.

Serve with salad and tostones.
