GOLD MINE NUGGETS 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 can crushed pineapple (8 1/4 oz.)
1 c. uncooked quick-cooking rolled oats
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips

Cream butter, brown sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Beat in egg and undrained pineapple. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; stir into pineapple mixture along with nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen.
