RUBY PEARS 
2 (29 oz.) cans pear halves
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. orange juice
1 tsp. lemon rind
pinch of salt
maraschino cherries

Mix together above ingredients except pears and cook on medium heat, stirring until clear and thickened. Drain pears, place in baking dish and put cherry in middle. Spread mixture over pears.

Bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes.
