BARBECUE SAUCE/PORK RIBS, ETC.
2 tbsp. butter
1 medium onion, sliced
Garlic or 1 whole clove
1/2 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. water
1 c. catsup
2 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 or 3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Melt butter, add onion and cook until browned. Add remaining ingredients and cook 20 minutes. Makes about 2 1/4 cups.

Use with 3 pounds meat. Chicken, ribs or meatballs. When I make ribs (pork) I bake ribs about 1 hour and drain fat and ribs on paper towels. Pour sauce over and bake another hour at 325 degrees. Enjoy!!
