CORN CUSTARD 
4 tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 1/2 tbsp. fat
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. Pet milk
2 slightly beaten eggs
#2 can whole grain corn, drained
A little red pimento looks good

Cook green pepper and onion in fat for 5 minutes. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Stir in the milk. Heat to boiling point, stirring constantly. Stir in beaten eggs and corn. Put pimento in bottom of 6 greased and floured custard cups or 8 inch baking dish. Pour in corn mixture. Set filled dishes in pan of hot water. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 45 minutes or until firm. Serves 6.
