COCONUT CAKE 
1 Duncan Hines cake mix
1 c. Angel Flake coconut

Mix cake as directed on package, then add angel flake coconut. Bake as directed on package in two 8 inch round cake pans. Cool.

ICING:

2 egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. light corn syrup
1 c. angel flake coconut

Combine unbeaten egg whites, sugar, water and corn syrup in top of double boiler; beat just enough to blend ingredients. Place over rapidly boiling water and beat with electric mixer until mixture is light and fluffy and will hold its shape (approximately 10 minutes). Remove from heat; add vanilla and continue to beat until frosting is stiff enough to stand in peaks. Add 1 cup angel flake coconut and spread on cake.
