LEMON JELLO CAKE | |
1 pkg. yellow cake mix 4 eggs 3/4 c. Wesson oil 3/4 c. apricot nectar 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor 1 pkg. lemon Jello Warm apricot nectar and stir Jello in and set aside. Beat eggs good; sprinkle in cake mix. Beat until mixed well. Then add apricot and Jello; mix Wesson oil and flavoring. Beat until mixed well. Bake in tube pan about 1 hour at 350 degrees. While cake is still warm, pour over 1 cup powdered sugar moistened with lemon juice - make thin, this will run down the side. (I put some orange juice in my sugar if my lemon isn't enough.) |
