FRUIT SWIRL COFFEE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. almond extract
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
Cherry pie filling (32 oz.)

ICING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 to 2 tsp. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Beat first ingredients 3 minutes on high. Stir flour. Spread 2/3 mix in pan. Spread cherry pie filling. Drop batter on the rest.

Bake 45 minutes at 450 degrees.

Mix icing with above ingredients. Drizzle over batter while still warm.
