FRUIT SWIRL COFFEE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 (21 oz.) can pie filling

Mix sugar, butter, shortening, baking powder, vanilla, and almond extract in mixing bowl. Stir in eggs. Add flour. Spread 2/3 of the batter in a greased small cookie sheet (15 1/2 x 10 1/2). Spread pie filling over batter. Drop remaining by tablespoons on top and bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.

GLAZE:

While warm, mix 1 cup confectioners sugar with 2 tablespoons milk and spread on top.
