CHICKEN ALA MARIA 
3/4 c. Italian seasoned fine dry bread crumbs (comes in a can)
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 whole lg. chicken breasts, boned (or cut in sm. pieces)
1/2 c. sliced green onions
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
1 (4 oz.) pkg. boiled ham, diced

Combine bread crumbs and cheese. Dip chicken in crumb mix to coat lightly. Arrange in 9x13x2 inch pan. Set remaining crumb mix aside.

In saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour, stir in milk. Stir until thickened. Cook 1 minute more. Stir in spinach and ham. Spoon over chicken. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake uncovered 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 12.
