SEVEN UP - POUND CAKE | |
3 sticks butter 3 c. sugar 5 eggs 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. 7-Up 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon extract Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well. Gradually add flour to mixture. Add 7-Up; mix well. Add vanilla and lemon extracts. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool and frost with cream cheese icing. CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 1 stick butter 4 oz. cream cheese 3/4 box confectioners' sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. lemon extract Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth. |
