1 gal. water
1 1/2 pt. 90 grain vinegar
3/4 c. pickling salt

Bring all this to a boil. Prepare pickles in jars. Add green dill a garlic pod and pepper to jars. Pour hot liquid in jars seal. Makes about 11 quarts.
