1 1/4 c. sugar
1 2/3 c. cream
2 tbsp butter
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
yellow food coloring (optional)
Nutmeg

Mix sugar and flour together. Heat cream and add sugar mixture and cook until slightly thickened. Add butter, coloring and vanilla and pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. DO NOT over bake. Filling will seem unbaked in center when is taken from oven.
