OVEN BAKED HAM

Ham

Wash ham and soak for at least 5 hours. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Place ham in roasting pan skin side up with 5 to 7 cups of water. Cover roaster tightly with Reynolds Wrap. Cook for 15 minutes at 500 degrees. Turn oven off and leave in oven for three hours. DO NOT OPEN DOOR! Turn oven back on and cook for 15 minutes again at 500 degrees. leave ham in oven for six to eight hours. NEVER OPEN THE OVEN DOOR AFTER YOU HAVE PUT THE HAM IN THE FIRST TIME! Do not expose the ham to any more than 30 minutes of actual cooking time. Remove, skin and trim; serve.
