CHICKEN POT PIE
1 (10 oz.) can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup or Chicken or Turkey Pot Pie Soup
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 1/2 cups cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
3/4 cup chicken broth combined with 3 tablespoons flour
2 Pillsbury pie shells

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix soup, vegetables (may use fresh vegetables), chicken, and broth. (The mixture should be somewhat thick.) If only chicken noodle soup is available, it may be pureed in the blender to make a smooth gravy.

Put mixture into the bottom pie shell. Cover with the top pie crust and crimp to seal. Slice a few vent holes in the top.

Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Cover pie edge with aluminum foil or a pie shield if it begins to brown too quickly.

Chicken Pot Pie

My recipe is very similar to this, except my son told me to add a pie crust in the middle, so I split the ingredients, put half in the pie crust in the bottom of the pie plate, then a pie crust, then the other half of the ingredients and then the top pie crust.. Use the other pie crust to make a pie for dessert. Yummy, my family loves it!

EXCELLENT!! My husband WOLFED it down! I made a couple minor adjustments : I used blackening seasoning when I cooked the chicken also I used 2 tbsp. of cornstarch in place of the flour mixed with the chicken stock. Also, I added broccoli and steamed red skin potatoes in addition to the mixed veggies, as well as 1 1/2 cup of sharp cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup bacon pieces. It was INCREDIBLE!!!!

Easy to bake, yummy to eat. Kids and bachelors will especially appreciate the ease and cost of this one.

Note: I prefer cream of potato soup. Or, add diced, par-cooked potatoes yourself. Dig in!

Great recipe! I used 2 boneless chicken breasts and a can of cream of potato soup and some chicken gravy, frozen peas and fresh carrots. It made too much for 1 pie so I used the top as an extra bottom and put mini club crackers for a top.... YUM-MY!!!

This recipe is great! It is so easy and anyone can make it. However, a little tip that I have found worked for me, instead of thawing the veggies, boil them in the chicken stock after you have boiled your chicken, it makes them extra tender and gives the whole pie a wonderful flavor! (plus you don't then run the risk of crunchy carrots!)

Use 1 can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken and Herb and it will be even better! Adds just the right amount of spices.

I basically fix mine the same way, I usually use 2 cups of chicken broth and 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can mushroom soup and add a teaspoon of thickening. I usually use a large oven casserole dish and get puff pastry to put on top. I will be making yours but alter it with less peas and carrots and I will add a potato, cream of chicken and cream of mushroom and 2 cups of broth, you sound like a good cook.

This is one of my favorite recipes! It's super easy, and extremely tasty. I use a bag of frozen veggies that has potatoes in it, it's an easy way to shove my favorite food in the recipe!

This turned out amazing. I also added 1 potato to this recipe. The only thing that I'll change for next time is to use less peas.
