HERBED BREADSTICKS | |
1/2 (10"x14") loaf French or Italian bread 3/4 c. unsalted butter 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. rosemary leaves 1/4 tsp. marjoram 1/4 tsp. ground thyme 1/8 tsp. garlic powder Cut half loaf in half horizontally then cut each half in thirds lengthwise to make 6 sticks. Cut each stick in half to make 5"x1" sticks. In 15"x10"x1" jelly roll or 13"x9" baking pan, melt butter in oven (3 to 4 minutes). Add seasonings, stir to mix. Dip bread sticks in butter. Arrange in pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes or until bread is crisp and golden brown. Serve warm. |
