CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar, sifted
2 eggs, unbeaten
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk
3 sq. baking chocolate, melted

Cream butter. Add sugar and cream together. Add 1 egg, beat well. Add second egg and beat well. Sift flour and salt. Add alternately with milk, beating well. Add melted baking chocolate. Add soda which has been dissolved in vinegar. Beat well. Pour into 2 well buttered 9 inch layer pans. Bake 25 minutes in 375 degree oven. Cool.
