SWEET SOUR PORK RIBS 
3 lbs. pork ribs (country style)
1 1/2 tsp. salt (opt.)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can pineapple chunks (save juice for sauce)
2 green peppers, cut in strips
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. sugar or honey
1/4 c. vinegar

Bake ribs uncovered in shallow pan (400 degrees for 45 minutes). Drain. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, add 1 cup sauce and pineapple chunks. Bake 30 minutes. Turn meat, bake 10 minutes. Add peppers mixed with remaining sauce. Bake 20 minutes more. Serves 6.

SAUCE: Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and reserved pineapple juice. Cook and stir constantly until clear.
