CHICKEN AND RICE | |
4 to 6 chicken breasts flour 2 large cans tomato sauce 1 large onion 1 large jar sliced mushrooms (fresh mushrooms are better) 1 green pepper salt and pepper garlic salt vegetable oil 1 can Cheddar cheese soup Flour chicken breasts and lightly brown in vegetable oil. Pour off excess oil and add the onion, pepper and mushrooms. Add salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste. Pour the tomato sauce and cheese soup in a bowl to mix. Then pour the tomato sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Continue to cook on the stove top about 30 to 40 minutes on mid temperature until chicken is done and vegetables are tender. Serve over rice. |
