FUDGE NUT LAYER BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped walnuts

Beat butter and sugar until light. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt, mix well. Press half of mixture onto bottom of 9x13 inch pan.

Combine chocolate chips, cream cheese, and canned milk. Stir over low heat until smooth. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with remaining crust mixture, press down gently. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Cool, cut into bars.
