MOM'S DELIGHT | |
1 lb. vanilla wafers 1 c. butter 3 c. powdered sugar (1 box) 4 egg yolks 4 egg whites 2 (#2) cans crushed pineapple, drained 2 pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed & partially drained 1 pt. whipping cream (can use Dream Whip) Line buttered pan with vanilla wafer crumbs, saving about 1/2 cup for topping. Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into butter mixture. Spread mixture on crumbs in pan. Mix pineapple and strawberries and spread over first mixture. Whip cream and spread over all. Top with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate at least 4 to 6 hours. 12 to 15 servings. |
