30 famous chocolate wafers 1/2 c. butter 1 qt. coffee ice cream 2 squares unsweetened chocolate 1 tbsp. butter 1 sm. container Cool Whip 1/2 tbsp. instant coffee 1/2 c. sugar A few chopped pecans Melt 1/2 cup butter, crush chocolate wafers and the butter and wafer together and press into a 10-inch pie plate; chill. Fill crust with softened ice cream and chill. Cook chocolate squares, instant coffee, milk, sugar and the 1 tablespoon butter over low heat, until thickened. Spread this sauce over ice cream. Chill in freezer until set, cover with Cool Whip and chopped pecans. When frozen, wrap in foil until ready to serve. Remove from freezer 10 minutes before cutting. |
