BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKE 
1 8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
1 unbeaten egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar

Beat well and stir in 12 oz. chocolate chips.

CAKE BATTER:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/3 c. oil
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat well. Fill baking cups a good 1/3 full with batter. Top each with heaping teaspoon of cream cheese filling. Sprinkle with sugar and chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, minimum.
