RED GRAVY STEW 
3 or 4 peppers
2 lbs. beef cubes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. oil
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
2 or 3 carrots, sliced
6 or 7 potatoes, cut
1 can peas or sm. bag frozen peas
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. fresh string beans
3 cans tomato sauce
2 tbsp. flour

Brown meat in oil. When meat is browned, add onions and stir. Add flour, pepper, salt and stir. Add tomato sauce, carrots and green beans. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add potatoes and more sauce. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add peas during the last 15 minutes.
