SUGARED PECANS 
1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 lb. pecan halves (about 4 c.)

In small saucepan, melt butter; stir in sugar and spices and mix well. Pour over pecans in large roasting pan and mix well to coat. Bake in preheated 275 degree oven about 30 minutes, stirring several times. Cool and store in air tight container.

Also microwave at medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes and turn out on large cookie sheet to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
