ORANGE SUGARED PECANS 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
2 1/2 c. pecan halves

Combine sugar and orange juice. Boil to a saucepan until mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in a cup of cool water. Remove from heat. Add grated orange peel and pecan halves. Stir until syrup begins to look cloudy. Turn onto waxed paper in small clusters or individual halves. Allow to cool.
