SUGARED PECANS 
2 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Place pecan halves on a cookie sheet; bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Cook sugar, water, salt and cinnamon without stirring to a soft ball stage. Remove from heat, add vanilla and stir until creamy. Stir in pecans and pour onto a buttered platter. Separate with a fork while cooling. Store in tin boxes.
