PERSIMMON BARS 
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix and set aside.

1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. nuts
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves

In a large bowl, beat egg slightly, stir in sugar and oil. Combine all dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture. Add Pulp, nuts, and raisins. Mix well, oil and flour 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread on bars. Cut in squares when cooled.
