CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
1/4 lbs. candied cherries, chopped
4 slices candied green pineapple slices, chopped
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chopped black walnuts
1 c. chopped Brazil nuts
1/2 c. presifted flour
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheets. In mixing bowl combine cherries, pineapple, pecans, walnuts and Brazil nuts with flour. Mix well.

In another bowl beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beat until stiff and glossy. Fold in fruit mixture, vanilla and salt. Drop by teaspoons onto baking sheets. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden. Cool for a few minutes before removing from baking sheets.
