SWEET POTATO CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Cream sugar, oil, and eggs. Add vanilla, sweet potatoes, nuts, flour, and dry ingredients. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour in greased and floured pan.

ICING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 stick butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts

Mix all together and ice cake.
