BOURBON SWEET POTATOES 
1 1/2 lb. sweet potatoes or yams
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. bourbon
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Boil potatoes without skins until soft enough to mash. Add sugar, bourbon, butter and vanilla. Blend well. Bake in a greased baking dish at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle prior to baking with a mixture of sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. Serve hot.
