FRENCH DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 stick softened butter
1/2 c. finely chopped nut meats

Mix above ingredients with pastry cutter or fork. Press in bottom of 9 x 12 x 2 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool completely.

Layer 2:
1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Cool Whip

Cream together; spread over the completely cooled first layer. Refrigerate and let set for 30 minutes.

Layer 3:

Mix 1 small vanilla and 1 small butterscotch OR 2 small chocolate instant puddings with 3 cups of milk. Spread over layer 2 and refrigerate until set, 1- 2 hours.

Layer 4:

Spread Cool Whip and chopped nuts over Layer 3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
