HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS
16 chicken wings (3 lb.) or buy the quick frozen bag and thaw
1 c. honey
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tsp. vegetable oil
3 or 4 tbsp. minced garlic (depending on how "strong" you want the garlic)
pepper

Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut off bony tips of wings; cut back wing in half at the joint (this is when the frozen ones are great to use; saves lots of time). Place in a single layer in a shallow 3-quart baking dish.

In a medium bowl, stir all ingredients together until blended. Pour over chicken pieces, turning to coat.

Bake for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours until browned, basting occasionally.

If you like "drier" wings, at the 1 1/4 hour, remove as much of the liquid as possible and continue baking for another 15 minutes. Transfer to chafing dish or tray for serving.
