FOURTH OF JULY PIE 
3 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/3 c. pecans
1/3 c. coconut
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Beat eggs well. Combine with sugar, butter, milk, flour, vanilla, and syrup. Mix well. Stop in oatmeal, pecans, and coconut. Pour in pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes (the pie will have a custard filling with a crusty topping).
