My aunt paid $100 for this recipe when she visited the Lincoln Dels and had this pie. I've been making it since 1974. My aunt said to never give this recipe out. It's still the best chocolate pie ever and so quick to prepare. We have it every Thanksgiving.

There are three or four Lincoln Dell Chocolate Pie recipes floating around the Twin Cities (The Brothers Restaurants had a yummy one, too). "Beat very well" is 20 minutes. But be sure to use pasteurized eggs! It's easy to pasteurize eggs, and it's safety first!
