PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 1/2 cups chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups all-purpose flour

Cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs and baking soda. Mix well. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Roll dough into boulder size balls. Crisscross with fork, or flatten with palm, and lightly press shelled peanuts into dough. Bake at 350°F for 9 to 11 minutes or until just slightly brown around edges. Carefully remove from cookie sheet.

Makes 4 dozen (3-inch) cookies.
