FISH AND CHIPS | |
1 lb. fish fillets, cut into halves 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. vinegar 3/4 c. water Dry fish. Mix flour and salt. Mix baking soda and vinegar; stir into flour mixture. Stir in water, beat until smooth. Dip fish into batter, drip excess into bowl. Fry in deep fryer 2 to 3 inches of oil about 5 minutes. |
