PUMPKIN CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 lb. can of pumpkin
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves

At high speed beat eggs with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in oil and pumpkin to blend well. Sift flour, spices, salt and baking soda together; then at low speed blend flour mixture with batter just until combined. Pour into ungreased 9 inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

Cream Cheese Frosting:

2 pkg. (3 oz. size) cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. confectionary sugar

Place on top of cake.
