Strawberry Pretzel Salad is always a family favourite! LOL My daughter, wanted it as her wedding cake. I, personally, buy pretzels with more salt... Like the little skinny pretzel sticks.

My grandmother made this my whole life. Every family gathering it was requested for her to make it. I haven't had in 4 years, I made it for her funeral. Im planning on making it for thanksgiving, I'm pretty excited to have it. It's always been grandmas jello, and it always will be in our family.

Have been making this recipe for years using frozen strawberries from which I drain the juice and add to cold water for the Jello. However, my pretzels always get soggy. What can I do to prevent this? Thanks.

Since the strawberries are thawed, would there be any problem using fresh strawberries?

I have been enjoying this with my grand kids for years. Such an old fashioned treat, I feel like summers at the lake when I was a child.

After trying this delicious salad/dessert in the fall, I used my friend's recipe to make it for myself thinking I'd enjoy it for about a week. However, the second day the pretzels on the bottom were no longer crunchy. I just couldn't stomach the soggy pretzels! Next time I make it, it will have to be for a group so it can all be eaten the same day.
