SWEDISH HAM BALLS 
2 lb. ground ham
2 lb. ground pork
2 c. bread crumbs
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. water

Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well (have meat ground together at the market). Form into 3 inch balls and place in a shallow baking dish in one layer (do not brown before baking).

Combine next 4 ingredients, stir until sugar dissolves and pour over meatballs. Bake in a slow oven at 350 degrees. For 1 1/2 hours. Baste frequently and with a spoon, turn balls halfway through the baking. Garnish with broiled pineapple slices.

My grandmother always made this with a can of crushed pineapple added to the sauce. It made it even better than it already is.
