GERMAN STYLE BEANS 
2 to 3 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
3 tbsp. onion, chopped
1 (14.5 oz.) can green beans, drained
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar

In small skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Drain, reserving about 1 tablespoon bacon drippings in skillet. Add onion; saute until tender. Add beans, vinegar and sugar. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Makes 3 (1 1/2 cup) servings.
