Beat: 1 stick butter (melted) 1/2 c. oil 1 c. water 2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cocoa 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda Add to above and beat well: 2 eggs 1/2 c. buttermilk Bake in greased jelly roll pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. FILLING: Beat for 5 minutes: 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. Crisco 1/2 c. milk 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. water 1 tsp. vanilla After beating 5 minutes add 1 cup powdered sugar. Spread on cooled cake. FROSTING: 1 c. sugar 6 tbsp. butter 6 tbsp. milk |
