HO-HO CAKE 
1 chocolate cake mix

Bake cake mix, per directions, at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool

FILLING:

1 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch (or 5 tbsp. flour)
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly, add milk and cornstarch. Cook until thick. Set aside to cool.

Cream sugar, butter, shortening and vanilla. Beat with cooled milk until sugar is dissolved and fluffy. Spread on cooled cake.

SAUCE:

1 stick & 2 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 1/2 tbsp. hot water
3 c. powdered sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in saucepan for sauce. Add cocoa and hot water. Let this get hot, then take off burner. Add powdered sugar and beat. Add egg and vanilla.

Pour on cake immediately. The sauce will set fast; can't spread too much. Let the sauce kind of run.
