COCONUT POUND CAKE 
3 sticks butter, softened
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. coconut flavoring
1 1/3 c. coconut

Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add flour and milk a little at a time. Beat in 1 egg at a time. Beat well. Add coconut flavoring. Stir in coconut. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 300 degrees.
