STUFFING - FLAVORED RICE PILAF 
1 c. uncooked rice
2 1/3 c. water
Salt to taste
1 tbsp. butter or less
1 sm. stick celery, chopped
1 very sm. onion, chopped
Sage
Pepper
Thyme

Saut e the chopped celery and onion in about 1 tablespoon of butter in a 10- inch frying pan. Add the rice and brown slightly. Add the water, salt, pepper, sage, and thyme to taste.

After the liquid comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low. Cover the pan and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
