BANANA NUT LOAF 
1 c. sugar (can use 1/2 brown)
1/2 c. shortening
2 beaten eggs
3 mashed bananas
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped walnuts

Cream the sugar and shortening well. Add the eggs and bananas. Mix well. Add the flour, salt and soda. Also the chopped walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
