SOUR CREAM CUCUMBERS 
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. chopped chives
2 tbsp. chopped fresh dill
1 tbsp. celery seed
Few drops Tabasco
2 firm cucumbers, unpeeled

Dissolve salt and sugar in vinegar. Add sour cream. Stir until smooth. Add chives, dill, and celery seed. Slice cucumbers paper thin and combine with dressing. Chill one hour or more. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
