CHERRY PIE 
9" unbaked pie shell with enough crust to make lattice weave on top
4 c. sour pitted cherries
1 2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring

Mix lightly; pour into pie shell; dot cherries with bits of butter here and there; cover with slitted pie crust or with lattice weave. Bake 425 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.
